I’m Mikael, creator of Mikael’s Perspective. Born in Louisville, KY and now based in Los Angeles, my passion for photography started long before I ever picked up a professional camera. I was always drawn to visuals—even dreaming of having an iPhone at a young age just for the ability to capture better photos.

That passion showed up early. I found myself directing my mom and sister during photos — adjusting their poses, fixing small details, choosing where the photo should be taken. What felt natural then became the foundation for how I approach photography today.

When I moved to California in 2023, I knew I was meant for more than routine—I wanted to create, to bring ideas and visions to life. Photography became that outlet, allowing me to capture moments with intention, detail, and emotion.

While I love being behind the camera, my vision goes beyond photography. I’m continuing to grow into creative direction—bringing ideas to life from start to finish. Shaping not just the image, but the entire movement behind it.

Today, through Mikael’s Perspective, I focus on creating imagery that feels authentic, elevated, and fulfilling.
